COOLFIRE STUDIOS - Pre & Post-production Intern
Coolfire produces studio and on-location productions of all shapes and sizes, from the sound stages of Los Angeles to remote locations throughout the world. My internship focused around assisting the development of pilot programs and helping the pre/post-production process of the studio.
My responsibilities include:
|
USS INDIANAPOLIS: MEN OF COURAGE - Office PA
I assisted with the coordination and production of the feature film USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage.
Responsibilities included:
|
KIP's LAUNDRY SERVICE - Founder
While attending Spring Hill College, I cofounded a laundry delivery service operating on my college campus and the surrounding area. We have seen our humble operation blossom over the course of two years, as we have expanded both in the number of reoccurring clients and in our reach throughout the community.
My accomplishments within the organization are:
|
KAP Inc - Apprentice
From the summers of 2013 to 2015, I worked an apprenticeship for KAP Inc, a construction company that specializes in high-rise remodels. I worked as a general apprentice, learning the craft of different specialties. Working 84 hour job weeks was both mentally and physically demanding, but extremely rewarding.
I learned that hard-work should underly any project, and it gave me the necessary mentality to tackle long and strenuous projects. |
EXTRACURRICULARS
PURPLE TIES AGENCY - BROADCAST MANAGER / COPYWRITER
PurpleTies Agency developed a fully Integrated Marketing Communication Plan for Legacy 166. This plan included Marketing, Creative, Public Relations, E-Marketing and Media plans. I was the active Broadcast Manager responsible for creative/strategic direction of all video and audio materials. This meant I was tasked with writing all A/V scripts prior to filming/recording. The scope of my role included concept creation and execution of filming including team supervision and on set directing.
I was also one of the Graphic Designers. My main task was developing the logo for the agency. Coming into the course, very few members in the agency had ever been exposed to the agency atmosphere. I took it as my responsibility to try and have some part in assisting and reforming the marketing plan and promotional materials, including conceptualizing PR events, reworking plan rhetoric, and implementing coordinated and purposeful strategies within the plans. You can view the material I worked on here. |
BADGER BLOCK - DIRECTOR / WRITER
|
With the passion to entertain through parody, Stephen Nash and I wrote, planned, filmed, edited, and overall created Badger Block, a variety television show. This kind of project has never been attempted in scale or nature at Spring Hill College. With intense labors throughout our senior year, we have devoted a substantial amount of will-power to create two seasons of Badger Block totaling around 2 1/2 hours of broadcasted content. Badger Block has become one of the most recent staples of Spring Hill College student culture. The series has plans for a third season thanks to our foresight and our thoroughness in developing the "Badger Block Policy and Procedure Packet" for the next generation to carry on. So far season one and two have accumulated over 5,000 views online, and its premier episode has the highest view count of any video on any official Spring Hill College online channel. You can view a breakdown of the results, the rationale, problems faced, and a description of the plan used to execute the second season here. Watch both seasons here. |
SHC STUDENT MEDIA - PRODUCER
|
The purpose of SHC Student Media is emphasizing the importance of converging Spring Hill College's student information outlets to offer students a fully integrated news program focusing on print, radio, and video journalism.

SHC FILM PRODUCTION CLUB
Since helping create it in 2013, I've worked closely with the Film Production Club, in order to guide and rebuild it into a thriving environment for film enthusiasts and aspiring professionals. Thanks to my efforts the club has gone from non-existant to nominated for the "Most Outstanding Student Organization" in just 2 years.
